Packing for a vacation should feel exciting—not overwhelming. But we know how it goes: halfway through the drive you realize you forgot dish soap, or your toddler’s sippy cup, or the extra shampoo you swore you packed. That’s why, at the Lilac Lakehouse, we’ve tried to think of everything for you—so you can settle in and start relaxing the moment you walk through the door.

From kitchen basics and bath essentials to cozy extras and kid-friendly gear, we’ve carefully stocked the home with items that make life easier, meals smoother, and downtime more peaceful. Whether you’re here with your partner, a big family crew, or just a few close friends, you’ll find everything you need already waiting for you—thoughtfully chosen, neatly stored, and ready to use.

Here’s a full list of what you’ll have ready and waiting for you the moment you arrive:

In the Kitchen

We believe great meals bring people together—so we’ve stocked the kitchen with both the big tools and the little things that make a difference.

• Basic cooking staples:

You’ll also find all the cookware, utensils, glassware, serving dishes, and small appliances you need to cook comfortably—whether it’s a simple breakfast or a full dinner spread.

In the Laundry Room

Located off the mudroom, the laundry space is stocked with everything you need to do a quick load (or clean up after a day at the beach).

Welcome Basket for All Guests

Because we love a thoughtful touch, every stay includes a curated welcome basket with a few local or seasonal goodies. Think: snacks, a handwritten card, and sometimes a surprise treat depending on what’s fresh and available in the County.

It’s our way of saying, we’re so glad you’re here.

Children’s Amenities

Families are warmly welcomed here—and we’ve made sure the youngest guests have what they need too:
