We’ve all had that moment—gathered around a table, laughing over a shared bottle of wine, telling stories, passing platters, and feeling like the night could go on forever. That’s the kind of energy the dining space at the Lilac Lakehouse was built for.
At the heart of this lakeside retreat is a stunning, custom solid wood dining table that comfortably seats 12. It’s long, rustic, and warm—like a giant invitation to slow down and enjoy the people you’re with. Whether you're hosting a big family-style dinner, a wine-tasting night, or a casual afternoon of cards and snacks, this space is designed to make it memorable.
Let’s start with the view. The dining area is lined with oversized windows that frame the lake like a living painting. Morning light pours in with a golden glow, and by evening, the sky turns blush and lavender right as you’re uncorking your second bottle of Amanda’s Winery Chardonnay. It’s calm, it's cinematic, and it's the perfect backdrop to any meal.
Overhead, the statement chandelier brings a soft elegance to the space—light enough to glow, bold enough to anchor the room. It casts a warm light over the table, creating a cozy atmosphere for evening dinners and long conversations.
The surrounding textures bring it all home: light wood walls, soft woven fabrics on the chairs, and subtle touches of black and brass throughout. It’s airy, grounded, and just a touch luxurious—without feeling too formal.
The table was built for County living—long enough for a feast, wide enough for charcuterie spreads, and sturdy enough for a few rounds of board games after dessert. It’s not just a place to eat; it’s where everything happens. Where plans are made, stories are swapped, and wine glasses clink late into the night.
And when it comes to local eats and sips, you’re already in one of the best regions in Ontario. We love pairing this incredible space with flavours from just down the road:
Agrarian Market in Bloomfield offers an unbeatable selection of artisanal cheeses, house-made dips, preserves, and crusty breads—perfect for an easy, elegant dinner board.
Amanda’s Vineyards (not far from Hillier) is a gem for small-batch wines with personality. Try their Cabernet Franc or sparkling rosé with your meal.
