Arriving at a vacation rental should feel easy, not stressful. No circling the block. No wondering where to leave your car. No second-guessing if you’re in the right spot. At the Lilac Lakehouse, we’ve made sure that the moment you pull up, you can actually start to relax. Because your vacation should begin before you even unpack the car.
When you arrive, you’ll find our long, private driveway ready and waiting for you. There’s no need to shuffle cars around or figure out confusing street signs. The driveway is flat, wide, and easy to navigate—no gravel traps or steep hills to deal with. It’s especially helpful if you’re arriving after dark or during unpredictable weather.
There’s ample space for up to six vehicles, making it ideal for couples arriving separately, larger family groups, or friends coming from different directions. Everyone can come and go freely, without needing to move someone else’s car first or squeeze into tight spots. There are no designated spots to worry about, just wide-open parking that lets you breathe easy the second you arrive.
Once you’re parked, you’re just steps away from the front door. It’s smooth and level, so rolling in luggage, coolers, or strollers is no problem. The area is also well-lit after sundown, which makes late-night check-ins or post-dinner returns simple and stress-free. Park your car, lock it up, and take that first deep vacation breath. You’re here.
If you’re planning to bring something larger—like a boat trailer, camper, or extra-wide van—let us know ahead of time. We’re happy to help you figure out where to park it safely or guide you to the best angle for unloading. We’ve had all kinds of vehicles stay here, and we’ll do our best to make it seamless for you, too.
We want your time at the Lakehouse to feel easy and carefree, but also safe. That’s why we’ve added a few discreet exterior security cameras around the property. These are there to give you peace of mind, especially when arriving late, storing gear outdoors, or just settling into a new place.
The cameras are positioned to monitor the driveway, entry points, and outer grounds only. There are no cameras inside the house or in any private guest spaces—ever. We fully respect your privacy, and the cameras are there strictly for safety and property protection.
You probably won’t even notice them once you’re settled in, but they’re always running in the background. They help us monitor for anything unusual, ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs, and keep the property secure when it’s unoccupied.
From the moment your tires touch the driveway, our goal is for you to feel like you’ve arrived somewhere calm, welcoming, and worry-free. No need to overthink logistics or double-check parking rules. You’ve got the space you need, the light to see, and the security to feel good about stepping away from your car and into vacation mode.
