Welcome! Whether you’re arriving after a road trip through the County, flying in for a peaceful escape, or just heading down the road from a nearby town, we’re so glad you’ve chosen to spend your time at the Lilac Lakehouse. Here’s everything you need to know to make your arrival simple, smooth, and stress-free.
Standard Check-In Time
Guests are welcome to check in anytime after 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. If you arrive a little early, we kindly ask that you give our cleaners the time they need to finish preparing the home just right for you. If the house happens to be ready ahead of schedule, we’ll absolutely let you know!
How to Get In
The Lilac Lakehouse features smart locks for easy, secure, and contactless access. A unique code will be sent to you the morning of check-in via the platform you booked through or by email/text if preferred. This code is activated at 4:00 PM and stays live throughout your stay.
No need to pick up keys, coordinate timing, or meet someone in person—you can drive in, park comfortably in our large private driveway, and let yourself in when you’re ready. Easy as that.
If you need help using the lock or have questions when you arrive, don’t hesitate to message us. We’re always just a click or call away.
Arrival Tips
The driveway has room for multiple vehicles, so no stress if you’re traveling as a group.
The exterior is well-lit, so arriving after dark is no problem.
You’ll see clear signage when you arrive to make sure you know you’re in the right place.
The smart lock is located by the front entrance, just beside the welcome sign.
We suggest turning off your notifications, taking a breath, and soaking in that first hit of fresh lake air when you step out of the car. Your vacation starts now.
Wi-Fi, Welcome Info & House Tour
Once inside, you’ll find a welcome binder on the main table. It includes:
Your Wi-Fi password
A quick-start guide to the smart home features
Info about nearby shops, restaurants, and wineries
House rules and helpful how-tos (like the pizza oven and smart lights)
Emergency contacts and important local info
There’s also a Google Hub by the kitchen that acts like your digital concierge—ask it to turn on lights, check the weather, or play your arrival playlist.
